Infinix is known to release smartphones that come filled with premium features and priced within the sub 10k segment. This time they launched the Infinix S5 Pro with A Popup Selfie Camera Phone for ₹9,999

It is the first smartphone to come with a Poup selfie camera in the 10k budget range, along with this it is loaded with some new features and colours.  So let’s explore :-

Design

The Infinix s5 pro is available in colour options which are Forest Green and Violet. We received the Forest Green variant which gives a wonderful appearance. It’s far safe to mention that this is probably one of the nice-designed smartphones from infinix. The phone does not experience any cheap from any angle, the glossy finish on the lower back does entice some smudges, however it is not that seen as compared to different smartphones in this fee variety. Although the body of the s5 pro is polycarbonate but the common look is quite top class way to the Forest Green inexperienced colour that complements the general look and additionally attracts attention. Particular thing is the popup mechanism that unveils the the front 16mp selfie camera whilst needed. The layout of the hidden the front camera essentially gives more room for the handset screen

Specs :-

4GB RAM + 64GB ROM
XOS 6.0 Dolphin OS based on Android 10
16MP AI POPUP selfie camera
48MP triple AI camera on the rear
6.53” Full View display with FHD+ resolution

Performance :-

The Infinix s5 Pro comes with a Fullscreen display without any notches or dot layout, along with the pop-up selfie front camera. The proper aspect features extent controls and power on/off buttons, which can be pretty smooth to attain. The base is loaded with a 3. 5mm audio jack, micro-usb port and a speaker grille, whilst the top functions pop-up selfie mechanism. The telephone is comfortable to hold in your hand, though the only-handed operation isn’t always possible in this phone. That said, the phone does rating some precise points in the layout branch. The Infinix S5 Pro is loaded with a 6. 53-inch full HD+ display with a display screen resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels. The display is quite vivid and it is usable in outside conditions and you could thank the 480nits brightness for it. The ninety one consistent with cent display-to-body ratio gives a seamless viewing, however the audio might devalue the viewing experience as it lacks bass.

The Infinix S5 pro is powered by an octa-core mediatek helio p35 chipset together with 4GB of ram and 64GB of internal storage. Further storage expansion is possible with a microsd card slot. The performance isn’t the robust point of this cellphone. While the phone works flawless for any normal user but while reviewing it we found it it lags when your are multi-tasking especially when couple of chrome tabs are open along with other Google Apps like Youtube which is disappointing. Moreover, on the gaming the front, it does a mean task as you can actually play almost all games but high end multiplayer games are not meant for this phone. The Infinix s5 pro runs on Android 10, with their UI XOS 6 walking on top of it. I personally don’t like the XOS UI and would recommend user to install a 3rd party launches (Eg. Poco), the consumer interface positive comes with some exciting features like a floating window that offers shortcuts in your preferred apps. Then you have a few battery & other customisable gestures & themes along with Power saving options & the smart panel.

Camera :-

The Infinix S5 Pro comes with a triple camera setup with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.79 aperture, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a dedicated Low light sensor along with dual-LED flash.

Being the 1st smartphone to launch a Poup Selfie Camera in the budget segment with a 16mp sensor. The selfie camera does a decent job but if you look at the picture quality in outdoor conditions then you will find them overexposed and indoor quality doesn’t impress as well. But Wait, You cannot expect wonders in this price segment and it does it job decently.

The rear camera comes with a triple camera setup but the performance is average over here as well. The rear camera does capture the pictures decently and colours look vibrant which I loved about it, along with that Portrait mode works well, you will notice the camera tries to reduce noise in low lighting conditions but fails to deliver much, overall I would say it has a decent camera for outdoor conditions but not that great when it comes to indoor low lighting conditions.

Battery :-

Infinix S5 Pro is powered with 4,000mAh battery, our test shows that it suffices the needs for an average user for more than a day and in regular to heavy multi-tasking use it still juices for a day which is great. The only con over here is the battery takes around 2 hrs to charge. completely.

The S5 Pro does come with an exiciting bundle of pop-up camera along with premium design & features which will be an interesting deal for budget range market, overall the phone does a fair job & would surely live upto the expectation of it’s price range.
